Although our Sunday morning service doesn’t begin until 10.30am at Woodstock Baptist Church, our doors are usually open at 10am so there is plenty of time to listen to our worship team rehearsing, catch up with someone you haven’t seen for a while or introduce yourself to one of the church team. Before the service begins, if you would like to, please feel free to join us in prayer for the service in the prayer room (on the right as you enter the church building) between 10.10 - 10.20am.

We begin our time in church together with prayer, songs of praise and worship, including a song, led by our children and young people. The words for our songs are projected on the screen and every service is recorded and uploaded onto the church website. After the collection is taken our children and young people head off to Sunday school which varies each week:

Crèche and Sunday school (Children under 11)

Our group for children aged 5-10 is a small group that meets during the second half of the Sunday morning service.

It is an informal time when the children have the opportunity to chat about their news and to learn about a personal relationship with Jesus through Bible stories, craft activities, games and prayer. We use Scripture Union material.

Children are welcome to attend without an adult. If you would be interested in sending your child/children then please contact us through the contact form on the website for more information.

Sunday school and Brew (Children over 11)

Older children are welcome to join Sunday school classes in the church building to explore their faith and learn more about Jesus.

Our Sunday service concludes at noon with conversation and refreshments served by members of the church congregation, at the back of the church building. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are available, alongside cakes and biscuits.
